The CS3MESH4EOSC final event, taking place on 22 June 2023, at the EGI Conference in Poznan (Poland), will showcase how the Science Mesh is contributing to an easier and more robust open science across Europe, thanks
From June 19th to 23rd, the EGI community will meet again, this time for #EGI2023. International scientific communities and computing providers in Europe are major contributors to research and innovation in data-intensive processing and analytics and are at the core of our conference programme.
CS3MESH4EOSC will be part of the programme, with the presentation of Diogo Castro from CERN, focused on the development of the cs3api4lab, a plugin created by the project to connect Jupyter to the Science Mesh.
The DFN company conferences take place twice a year. Here the participants can clarify questions that arise from the use of DFN services. In addition, those responsible for the network are to be given further training and newcomers to be trained.
The CS3MESH4EOSC project is a official supporter of CS3 Conference 2023. The CS3 community consists of providers, developers, and users of innovative storage and sync&share systems. Its services are integrated with user environments and higher-level application services.
Data Science Summit is the largest and oldest independent data science conference in the CEE region. It has been held every year since 2017 and the last edition attracted nearly 2.500 participants.
Last year, the Council of the European Union defined the specific policy priorities of 2022-2024 for the establishment of the New European Research Area (ERA) as a “researchers-centred, value-based, excellence as well as impact-driven area, in which researchers, knowledge and technology are supported and can circulate freely.”
Successful management, exchange and interpretation of knowledge in an ever-growing information tsunami will depend on highly automated methods dealing with combined data. This will require artificial intelligence but also robust and informative ways to store and disseminate data and metadata. Here is where one crucial concept shows up: FAIR Digital Objects (FDOs).
