CS3 - Workshop on Cloud Services for Synchronisation and Sharing

CS3 2021 will be held online (25-29 January 2021) with a conference format which will be as much informative, collaborative and entertaining as all the previous physical editions. Sessions will be shorter, with more opportunities for interactive networking. The final agenda will be compiled once all contributions are collected.

The main CS3 session will be followed by two additional thematic workshops: OCM workshop and ScienceMesh workshop (organised by CS3MESH4EOSC - see more info below). There is a call for Abstracts, with 15 December as submission deadline.

Pedro Ferreira, Technical Coordinator of CS3MESH4EOSC and Project and Service Manager at CERN, is giving a 15-minute presentation entitled "CS3MES4EOSC - creating a mesh for Open Science", on 26th January at 14:05. Pedro will introduce the CS3MESH4EOSC project and summarize the main achievements of this first year of work, with a focus on the conception and design of the Science Mesh platform. Pedro will also explain how the CS3 ecosystem can participate in the community-wide effort towards a true federation of CS3 services for Science.

Science Mesh Workshop

The CS3MESH4EOSC is developing Science Mesh — a global collaboration service for researchers, educators, data curators and analysts based on OCM and CS3APIs. It provides an interoperable platform to easily share & deploy application and software components, while providing rich collaborative workflows. Visit this page for more info about the Science Mesh workshop.
