HIFIS is the federated cloud computing IT capability of the Helmholtz society. HIFIS is currently building a federation of EFSS sites in many ways similar to Science Mesh. Synergies and interoperability between HIFIS and Science Mesh have been discussed.

Joint development work between HIFIS, CS3MESH4EOSC and GÉANT has been proposed and will be pursued with the aim of implementing group-aware sharing functionality and integration with REVA interoperability layer.
